Mise-en-scene recreation planning

  1) Get into groups of up to four. Note: although the planning and filming can be done as a group, all students   MUST  edit their   OWN   version of the chosen scene. Make a note of who you are working with.               -media terminology             -CLAMPS 1) Find a distinctive   still image   and write an analysis of the mise-en-scene. Use each of the aspects you've learned in the lesson. Costume :The costume of these characters are very casual and display everyday wear.However they could connote how they want to blend in with society.This is because the colours black white grey and beige blend in with buildings and people.It allows them to fit in without being tracked by the people around them.As well as this in society these colours are worn by everyone because they are casual and are not eye appealing to people.Overall the chosen costume in this still image is used to communicate the idea of normality and blending in with the people around you to possibly not get caught by someone .Lighting; The lighting of this image is normal outside everyday lighting.However there is a sense of high-key lighting on ...

Film poster analysis

  Blade runner 1)The genre of the film poster can be considerd as sci-fi and action . 2)This is because in the poster the facial expressions of the characters show some aggresion. The poster follows an enigma code because it makes us think and question why they are angry.As well as this the title 'Blade runner' reinforces the idea that the protagonists could be running away from something which displays action.The colour schemes of the building reinforce the idea that the film could contain futuristic scenes .Blue,white and black.It could be argued that in the film cover the women looks alien like and not from earth.  3)Overall I think that the film is about humans vs robots and the action between them.It could be considered that the film poster display s binary oppositio n s because of the contrast of dark and light between the man and the women.
